BEST TIME TO VISIT KERALA

Kerala has three tourist seasons. Peak Season which ranges from September to March, Off Season in Kerala which is from April to May and Monsoon Season from June to August . Day 1

Cochin – Munnar

Drive to Munnar, one of the beautiful hill stations in Kerala with unending expandsof Tea plantations, spice plantations and a variety of flora and fauna

• Situated 1600m above sea level this is the paradise of honeymooners

• On the way visit Cheyyappara water falls, Vallara water falls, Spice plantations and many view points

• You can stop en-route for romantic photo sessions to reach Munnar and check in to hotel, rest and relax

Day 2

Munnar Sightseeing

After breakfast proceed for a full day sightseeing of Munnar which includes Photo point, Eravikulam National park (Rajamalai), Mattupetty Dam, Echo point, Shooting point and Kundale Lake

• After lunch visit Tea Museum (Monday Holiday), Tea Plantations, Blossom Park and Pothenmedu View Point

• Overnight stay at Munnar(Rajamalai will be closed from February to April mid due to breeding season of goats, booking for Rajamalai can be done online to avoid rush or call +91 4865-208255)

Day 3

Munnar to Thekkady

Drive from Munnar to Thekkady in the morning

• Sightseeing destinations include Periyar wild life sanctuary where you may see wild elephant, boar, deer, the great Indian tiger and mullaperiyar dam (you can watch all these only while doing boating in the Lake. There is entrance fee for boating)

• You can watch martial arts, kathakali, elephant ride, elephant bath, tribal dance, musical fountain and can go for ayurveda massages (all are optional activities with separate entrance fees)

• Overnight stay at Thekkady (During rush time, getting ticket for periyar boating is difficult, you may even book boat ticket in advance through KTDC Lake Palace – +91 4869 222014 or +91 9400008589 or online)

Day 4

Thekkady to Alleppey Houseboat

Drive to Alleppey and enjoy the backwaters, scenery and different places for 21hrs in a Kerala Houseboat (It is advisable to start early from Munnar to reach Houseboat before 12Noon)

• In the Houseboat you will be greeted with welcome drink, tea snacks, mineral water, lunch, dinner and breakfast

• Houseboat check in is at 12Noon and cruises till 5.30Pm with 1hour halt for lunch. Boat will be anchored till 8am next day and cruises till 9am for check out

• Overnight stay in this Houseboat (A/C in Houseboat operates from 9pm to 6am next day)

Day 5

Alleppey to Cochin sightseeing and drop

Drive to Cochin for sightseeing

• Depends on your departure time Cochin sightseeing can include fort cochin, navy museum, Jewish synagogue, Marian drive, Marine walk way, boating, Tripunitura hill palace

• Our representative will leave you at respective station and will do necessary support there

• Drive back to your hometown with the sweet memories of Kerala trip with us(Hill palace opens from 9AM to 5PM, Holiday on Monday, Ditch palace holiday on Friday, Sinagogue opens from 9 to 11AM and 4 to 5PM, Holiday on Friday and Saturday)
